Better coffee
demands better conditions.
Quality, without compromise
At Plenty, we work exclusively with specialty coffee.
That means coffee chosen for how it tastes, and how it’s produced. Quality and ethics are not separate decisions; they’re part of the same standard.
Great coffee doesn’t happen by accident. It reflects how it’s grown, how producers are paid, and the care taken at every stage. We focus on coffees where that entire chain is aligned; where the result in the cup is matched by the way it was produced.
You’ll notice we don’t lead with certifications like Fairtrade or Rainforest Alliance. That’s intentional.
While those frameworks can play a role, they don’t always reflect the full picture. Many of the most skilled producers operate outside of certification systems, not because they lack standards, but because the process itself can be costly, restrictive, and disconnected from the way high-quality coffee is actually produced and traded.
Certification also doesn’t measure quality. A coffee can meet certification standards and still be average, or fall outside them and be exceptional.
Our approach is more direct. We select coffees that meet a high bar on both sides: exceptional in the cup, and responsibly produced at origin. That means paying properly for quality, supporting producers focused on craft, and choosing coffees that stand up to both scrutiny and experience.
We also contribute to industry-wide research through organisations like World Coffee Research, helping invest in the long-term future of coffee, from plant science to climate resilience.
The result is simple: Better coffee, sourced with intent, and served without compromise.
